The process for guests is as follows:
1. Guests make a reservation via the CloudBeds booking engine.
2. The CloudBeds booking engine automatically redirects to the payment page.
3. Guests complete their payment, and the payment is recorded in the reservation folio.
4. Guests receive a pending payment reservation email, which includes a payment link.
For the Front Office, the process is as follows:
1. Reservations are automatically confirmed once payment is made.
2. The Front Office receives an email notification from CloudBeds for new pending payment reservations.
3. Payments are recorded in the reservation folio, resulting in a zero balance.
4. Reservations with pending payments are automatically canceled after 24 hours.
* The Front Office can prevent automatic cancellation by manually confirming the reservation.
** The Front Office can also send the payment link from an existing reservation by navigating to “ACTIONS,” selecting “Compose Message,” and choosing the “Pending Confirmation” template.
