Payment Gateways
We're using integrated gateways obtain PCI DSS compliance, which means they’re in charge of storing, securing, and conducting initial verification for each transaction.
We are flat rate based on hotel room night. This rate is not included credit card transaction fee that charged by the payment gateway to process a transaction. The credit card transaction fee rates vary from 1.5% to 3.5% depending on the type of credit card and payment gateway.

Please find the detailed process for guests and the Front Office below:
Guest Process:
1. Guests make a reservation via the Cloudbeds booking engine.
2. The system automatically redirects the guest to the payment page.
3. Upon completion, the payment is recorded directly in the reservation folio.
4. Guests receive a pending payment reservation email, which includes a payment link for their convenience.
Front Office Process:
1. Reservations are automatically confirmed once payment is processed.
2. The Front Office receives a notification from Cloudbeds for any new pending payment reservations.
3. Once payments are recorded in the reservation folio, the balance will reflect as zero.
4. Reservations with pending payments are automatically canceled by the system after 24 hours.
Additional Notes:
– The Front Office may prevent automatic cancellation by manually confirming a reservation.
– To manually send a payment link from an existing reservation, navigate to “ACTIONS,” select “Compose Message,” and choose the “Pending Confirmation” template.
